a boosted h23 in a eg hatch would haul. even stock h23 in a eg would work alright for a stock motor.

i dont think it matters, an eg hatch is from 92-96 i think? dont quote me, do some research on your own, check out the other forums within honda-tech and see what they have swapped in h23 and h22 in

Whats so special about the motor?!?!? For the most part they are throwaways, and the work removing it and reinstalling it into another car may not be worth the hassle. Why not buy another Prelude???
Other than another Prelude.....look for a 92-95 with a dead/near dead motor.....
Start pricing the swap and you may change your mind!

You obviously have no concept of how much goes into removing/reinstalling a motor especially in a car that didn't originally come with it.
You say youre trying to get your car back together above, yet your 1st post was about installing it into another car. I wasn't hating on you.....but if you'd like I will.

I don't think thats what the people meant. The h23 is nothing spectacular. But if you fancy that than go for it. You asked a legit question and got your answer. Some members are just giving their suggestion which I also agree on. Buy a car you like and not a car around your saved engine.

i just wanted to know what i could do with the motor until i could get something different i still owe money on my prelude im gonna be in a bind but i have a car to drive so that helps i just wanted to make something better than my cavalier and i already have that motor sitting around and if i dont use it a kid wants to buy it for his hatchback so maybe its not necessarily the best but im paying for the car why not use the motor it would be shitty to just lose everything and pay for it still

If he can junk the motor away no problem, then surely that $300 motor is nothing to him. You are quick to jump to conclusions.
