Default Caliper question

Hey everyone,

I recently replaced both back rotors on my 94 Civic EX (1.6L vtec) Coupe, and while the mechanic (whom im close friends with) was working on the car he calls me to tell me the back passenger caliper froze.

I replaced this caliper about two years back, and that makes me uneasy as I don't believe in two faulty calipers.

Thus, the question is, what can cause a caliper to seize up other than wear and tear or a faulty caliper?

Much appreciated for any help!

~Sigma

Honestly for some reason Ive seen most civics have the same problem if they didn't come with rear disc. For the ones that do they just go bad after a while.

thanks, well I changed the first caliper myself because I knew it froze up on me, so I didn't mind accepting him saying that the same spot froze up again lol. But yea ill check those spots tomorrow.

I feel as though the Master Cylinder is starting to fail, so ill just replace it.

Yea I was going tell you if its swapped rear disc usally the calipers dont get enough pressure so that might cause the problem or if the Master is going bad
