Default Bypass the relay or no?

I recently bought the yellow depo fogs for my 97 ex coupe and everything worked for a few weeks, then all the sudden they just stopped working. I found out it was the relay that was bad, the connector was all corroded and so was the relay itself due to it being in the bumper and living in chicago the bad snow stores and salt on the road some how got in there and screwd it all up. So i bypassed the relay and everything seemed to work perfectly fine, but then shortly after running it for 10 minutes, the switch for the fogs burnt out and pretty much melted. So i bought an aftermaket swtich to replace it, I hooked everything up and now, once I go to turn the car on, the fogs are already on, then when i go to flip the swtich off, it blows a fuse. And so now im puzzled as to what i could do to get them to work again. If you guys have any suggestions or anything let me know!!
