What causes this....
This might be the wrong forum to ask in, but I'll give it a shot. I have a set of fog lamps made by pilot. If you don't know Pilot, they're pretty run of the mill with a relay and fuse and all. Anyway, when I turn them on I hear a strange clicking noise from the relay, and no light coming from the lamps. Do I have a bad ground somewhere, or is the relay just shot? I've tried almost everything short of replacing all the wiring.
well the relay should click only once if it clicks several times then you got either a bad realy or bad relay holder. See a relay is a mechanical switch. When electricity is applied it switches over. So when you are applying electricity the realy is switching back and forth. GET A NEW REALY. If that doesnt work the you have a Voltage problem. Uo dont have enough voltage into the relay. IM or e-mail me anymore questions you have
