buying an EK with dead motor. HELP!
Hey guys, my 2nd post here on HT. Been out of the game since I sold my EM1 in 2004. Looking to get back and pick up an EK hatch for a DD.
I found a car that I liked, here's the info:
Owner (on his first attempt) did the b16a build and swap in 2007 then went off to the military. Car has been in storage since. The owner was never able to turn the engine.
Specs:
2000 Civic cx hatch
B16A
B16B Transmission
ITR Pistons 11.1 Compression
Skunk2 Pro 1 Cams
KMS Complete Titanium Valve-train
Greddy Timing Belt
Stage 4 Clutch w/ resurfaced fly wheel
Mugen Thermostat
APR Rod End bolts
I was planning on towing the car straight to a shop and have them diagnose and fix.
Is there anything I should be worried about? any ideas why it won't turn?
I guess the engine is a b16a SiRII with obd1 to obd2 conversion harness. Owner says ECU has been remapped for the above setup.
I'm not very mechanical so please go easy on me.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: buying an EK with dead motor. HELP!
I would have them check to see if the timing belt is installed properly first before doing a startup attempt, most likely it is but who knows.
Then standard no-start diagnosis, after that its all up in the air, it could be simple it could be complex, just gotta pull the trigger.
