You're going to have to resuse the EK engine harness and either buy OBD2 type injectors, alternator, distributor, etc. or rewire those items.
Does the vehicle have to pass any smog/emissions testing where an OBD2 scan tool is plugged in to check for any codes?

Re: OBD2 Engine harness for EK Civic (B18C5-EH2)
I dont know if I explained myself correctly. I want to install an OBD1 B16a engine in an OBD2 Civic EK because I couldnt find an OBD2 Civic EK engine.

...and it's exactly what I'm explaining to you. You must use the stock Civic EK engine harness because it is a 1 piece design and no OBD1 engines had that same 1 piece engine harness - they all stopped at the shock towers.
You must resuse the stock EK harness and either rewire some plugs, or replace the OBD1 distributor, injectors, and alternator with parts from an OBD2 B series engine.
Exactly what kind of car is it, and exactly what kind of engine is currently in it?
Also I must repeat does this car have to pass any sort of emissions testing?

The car is a Civic 1996 model with a d13b engine

If it is carburated then you are 100% SCREWED.
It would be easier and possibly even cheaper to just buy an entirely different car/chassis that starts out fuel injected as the fuel tank, lines, entire chassis wiring harness, dash harness, etc. etc. are all different on the carb'd chassis.
I can't think of a harder swap to do.

Re: OBD2 Engine harness for EK Civic (B18C5-EH2)
I did that more than once already and all worked perfectly.Sorry my mistake but the engine is a D14a and it is fuel injection.
There is any conversion harness for this swap?
Thanks
