build up and swap pics, 56k-nope
so i compiled a bunch of pictures as ive been building this car since june and i jsut wanted to put it all together as a kinda time line. a lot fo these pics have been up before but some are new. bought the car off some gangster on the west side of town and it came with some generic momo diablos and a big bass system. shortly after this i swapped my 5lug from my wrecked eg over and added my ebay nex brakes and rotors along with 1in gsr brake booster/master cly along with some tein SS. th car was a sohc for about 3months as i pieced together a 99si swap that recieved a generous head porting, jun3 package and an ls block with p30 slugs and a polished crank. all kinds of bolt ons, ceramic coated honda 4-1 header, prelude S t-body, b16lsd tranny, itr intake mani, rc310s, ...etc.
as far as cosmetics, i had the new solid black bride brix, ek4 cluster, ctr body kit and lights and a carbon fiber hood that sometimes is on.
i put about 1800miles on it before it started to get on it and it really pulled hard, unfortunaly i never got a chance to dyno it.
about a week ago i was at the daliracing nsx road race and spun a rod bearing early in the morning. so i trailored her home to phoenix form parump nevada and jsut put the b16 block back in for now while i rebuild this ls block with 2000miles.
questoins coments and feed back welcome
heres the car how i bought it

Is that your garage?? If so, how much did you pay for that lift and how did you go about getting it? By the way on the car. The only other question I have for you is why was the engine bay white but the exterior silver? Did the dude before you get it painted?

I dont think the engine bay is white, its just faded and really dirty. They didnt make a hatchback in white in 96-98 so it couldnt be. hehe. Anyways awesome car dude. Nice build up.

the engine bay isn't white, on all 6th gen VSM colored cars, including mine, the engine bay is a lighter colored silver with no metallic in it.

Re: build up and swap pics, 56k-nope (Soichiro Honda)
-no thats not me, is a old friend that road up to vegas with me
-the engine bay isnt white, its jsut dirty, honda never painted their VSM engine
-bays for some reason, jsut left them a grey color, and yes, mine is very dirty
-the lift is not mine, its hasport, they can be picked upf ro 2300-3000
-maybe the calipers can fit on stock rotors, but im not sure if there is a kit, if anyhting youd have to get the fast brakes kit, instead of itr calprts use the nsx calipers with a single washer for fitment, these should go right onto the redrilled prelude rotors with no problem,
-the exhuast is a magnaflow, its very quiet and i like it, also its not too flashy so my car doesnt get very much attention

Re: build up and swap pics, 56k-nope (b20bastard)
your exhaust looks like my exhaust
except I have a rear lip and it goes down before that part
mine is also painted flat black
I agree with you on wanting it low profile
same reason I did that on my car
I was tired of cops harassing me and I was tired of my car being so loud
anyway nice job on the car
looks great
