I Deleted the "How to Avoid Theft" Thread That Was Just Here...
It was started by a friend of mine named BenB.
Sorry, but it turned into a "how-to" of sorts on ways to steal our cars easier.
I know that 99% of the people who posted in that thread had good intentions, but other thieving ******** that were reading could have picked up some new info that they might not have known, so in essence the thread was very counter productive.
We really need to watch what we post in hopes of thwarting thieves - sometimes it actually teaches them new tricks, and if they know all of our "tricks" for anti-theft beforehand then they'll have a better idea on how to get around them.

I'm going to have to disagree on this!
Why should we avoid reality? People (thieves) know about this and we should also know how important our VIN #'s are.
I'm not going to get into that one guys experience that he just posted about getting a key made.

I'm glad I got into the thread before it was deleted. I will be placing tape over my VIN # now.
