voltage does not reach the floor harness. it is 13.84 at the switch and then nothing. there is no break as far as i can see, it actually looks like the floor harness was replaced within a year or 2. ironic because everything else was monkey'd to ****. could it be anything other then the grn/white?

ok so here is an update. hopefully this helps. the tail lights are on the big filament rather then the small one. so this would be a sign of a short to ground issue rather then a break correct? and also where should i be checking for this?

^This tells you that the problem is located in the between the switch and the floor harness connector. It could be a Grn/Wht wire break or a bad terminal contacts for the wire in one of the connectors at each end.

And are you doing the voltage tests with the engine running? With the engine off, voltage should not be higher than about 12.5V.

Are you saying that the brake lights turn on when you turn on the parking lights?

ok so i have voltage now to the brake light reciprocals running at 5.6-8.1V i've traced the grn/white wire all the way to the courtesy switch(door ajar) on the drivers side and same thing im only showing 5.6-8.1V. didn't go further since i have the same results at the reciprocals.

and no ron. Im saying the taillight/parking lights are coming through the big filament rather then the small one in the bulb. i understood that the parking lights are to be on the smaller filament and the brake lights are to be on the big filament.

also i forgot to mention. i know its a short/break as my volt meter will beep at the 4 pin connector by the LR break light. my question is where do i look if ive traced the floor harness already
