Not sure I understand your problem. I had this problem with a Ford. There was a micro switch attatched to the brake pedal. I had to replace the micro switch.

ive seen it cause by low brake fluid, a pedal that is not coming up all the way too, try pulling the pedal up and see if it moves, if it does move upward, have someone check the brake light then.
