if it's the same as the us one - the bracket goes under the bracket for the e-brake cables. have to remove the e-brake bracket and slip it in.

Yeah that thing is a PITA. It took me forever to figure it out, however I did not take a picture of it once I installed it. Once you get it under the ebrake bracket and get the holes lined up it can only go 2 different ways. Its just a ******* to get it fitted under it IIRC.

There's a second bracket that holds the back of the armrest in place...often this bracket is missing in the ones you buy online. You'll need to take the rear seat bottom out and bolt it into the little plastic grommets that it lines up with using some self-tapping screws. This keeps the back from shifting around when you whack it while loading/unloading stuff and passengers.

Wouldn't that only apply to the long armrests and go back to the rear seat?

I was assuming the OP was referring to the long armrest as it's usually what comes to mind when one says "JDM armrest". I know they had short ones too, but they're no different than the USDM ones.

^ Agreed - that's what I thought too when I saw "JDM Armrest" ... ie., must be referring to the long one. OP has been helped though so I think it's pretty much </thread>
