I've searched all the old posts and couldn't quite find one that matched my exact situation so I thought I'd post the question myself.

OK here's the situation : Bone stock 92 Civic LX, 156,000 miles, automatic. The problem I'm having is sort of idle related but not exactly. Upon start up the car idles fine and will continue to, even after it warms up. The problem is when you start to increase the rpm's slowly everything is fine until around 2000 rpms then it kind of boggs out and drops to about 1500, you try to increase again and it bogs down again. It will do this at what ever rpm you try to hold it steady at. I don't really notice it when I'm driving except when I'm starting out from a dead stop, then when it bogs it almost feels as though it might die unless I kind of feather the throttle.

This is what I've checked thus far: the TPS seems to be fine, the voltages appear correct according to the manual. No CEL codes at all, when I jumper the diagnostic plug I get a constant CEL, no blinking. The white screw thing in the FITV was loose when I checked it, its now tightened. The IACV tests good according to the manual, but there is quite a bit of gunk in the screen, I plan on cleaning it tomorrow when I get some carb cleaner. The MAP sensor tests out fine, the spark plugs look pretty good, it has a fairly new set of wires, cap and rotor.
