Default bleeding the coolant system

i have a 92 civic si thats overheating and i was told to bleed the cooling system...i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to bleed the cooling system cause i have no clue...thank you

1) Make sure car is completely cold
2) Fill radiator + overfill tank (to proper max) with coolant
3) Leave radiator cap off
4) Turn your heat on hot/defroster/on full blast and start your car
5) Allow air to bubble out of the radiator
6) As the level of coolant goes down, fill up with coolant.
7) Continue doing Step 7 until the heat coming out is hot/thermostat gauge is at normal operating temperature.

Feel free to squeeze the coolant hoses gently to knead out any air bubbles also.. That has proved to work well in addition to the above.
