You've got the wrong idea bro.
You should be looking at which block to go with your B16A head.
If you're going all-motor and you want it to be quick, you want to ditch the B16A.
This is coming from someone (me) that has owned a B18C1, B16A2 (still got it), and B18C5 (still got it too) and let me tell you that the B16A is a torqueless engine.

One with a 1.8L block attached to it.
But in all seriousness, keep the B16A/B18C Spec-R head. It responds better to "competition head work" (i.e. port & polish) than the non-R B18C head. The only disadvantage with the B16A head is lower compression due to the shape of the combustion chambers; this can be made up with higher compression pistons and/or a thinner head gasket.

I personally like the P72. But the pr3 is a lot cheaper. They can both be worked to flow similar. I just like the combustion chambers better on the P72 - and you'll get a little bump in compression too.
