Default bad map sensor caused by bolt ons?

My car ramdomly stalls, cel finally came up. took it in for diagnostics and the shop said the cel was the map sensor going bad. Then they told me it went bad because of my bolt ons, all i have is aem sri (soon to switch over to icebox), dc header, and greddy evo. This on a b16a2 99k miles. Does that sound right or are they just trying get me to go back to stock?

No, its not true. Functionally speaking, the intake is exactly the same as the stock peice...and that is the only part that would affect a map sensor.
If your map is bad, just pick up a replacement at a junkyard or from the marketplace here.

Sounds like you went to a dealership...
