So here recently since it has gotten slightly warmer out my ek hatch has been acting funny.. It's a stock b20b with i/h/e. It is currently running on a virgin p75 ecu. It used to have a phareable chipped p75 but I just swapped them out to see if that was the issue. Nope sure wasnt. The car is running extremely rich and I'm only seeing around 190 miles to a tank, I have checked the valves, timing, cap, button, plugs, plug wires, vacume leaks, and so on. I really am starting to get frustrated because I can't seem to find the issue. The car also will flood itself out after not starting for a day or two. Also under more than 1/4 throttle it will miss/ shutter, almost like a backfire. It is throwing a cel now that I have swapped a stock ecu back into it and I'm going to keep updated on the codes it's throwing. To my understanding a obd1 ecu requires the "paper clip" trick if I'm not mistaken? Or could I have it diagnosed at AZ or somewhere that has an obd1 reader and get better results?
