Icon6 b20 into em1 si problems

i just swapped a b20 into my 2000 si and its giving me problems. the engine is a bone stock b20z i used my stock si harness and im throwing like 8 codes that i can't seem to get rid of.
here they are:

p1381 manufacturer control ign or misfire
p1259 manf. control fuel air metering
p0301 cyl 1 misfire
p0302 cyl 2 misfire
p0304 cyl 4 misfire
p0300 random multiple misfire
and p1399

the car runs smooth and it has decent power but it won't let me rev past 6900 and it doesn't want to idle, it will idle at around 300 rpms for a sec but cut off every time. i don't have a vtec head on there YET so as of right now my vtec wires are not hooked up. i have a good distributor on it new wires, plugs looked fine. i switched the injector wires on cyl 1 & 2 and it has better throttle response but it doesn't skip at all...

the car has been sitting about a year and i had a half a tank of half dead gas so i filled it up with some good 93 to see if it would run better, still no luck

can anyone try to help me figure this out...thanks in advance

It might not run right if you are using the SI computer. Try a LS or even convert to OBD-1 w/ a chipped P28 and tune it. Old gas would cause it not to run right. If you are running the B20 ecu then that might explain the low rev limit.

i got the motor out of a junkyard so it has probably been sitting for a while, i saw another thread on here saying something about injectors being stuck, either open or closed, is this possible. even if they were, wouldn't it skip pretty bad?

i have extra sets of obd2 b16 and obd2 gsr injectors, will they work in a b20 fuel rail/manifold??

ok, so today i switched the #1 & 2 inj. plugs today and that got rid of my 3 misfire codes but i'm still getting:

p1381- ign or misfire
p1259- fuel air metering
p1399- same as 1381

these code definitions are according to the autozone scan tool, which may have out of date software.

the car ran fine before when it was ls/vtec i don't know what the sheck is goin on. i dont think vtec being unplugged would cause these codes. its not throwing any vtec codes

I had the same thing happen to me except the p1259. Check the distributor and the wiring harness. A different distributor fixed the problem.

i first put my b16 distributor on it (i know its good cuz it was running on my last motor) and called a guy i know and he told me that i would have to notch the distributor and turn it so that the bolt was BARELY holding the distributor on,because the timing would be WAYYY off if i didn't, i didn't want to do that so i went and bought an integra distributor and its still doing the same thing. the stock dist. that came with the motor was obd2a and i tried to pin the obd2b plug on it and it wouldn't start so i put it back like it was

checked the timing today, looked right. the only thing i know to do now would be to change injectors and/or computer.

think my problems will go away if i just bolt my vtec head on there and get it wired in. since i have vtec ecu?? ive never had an ls engine non vtec before, this is getting old.

update:
plugged in the vtec switch and i can finally rev past 6900 rpms.. will recheck codes tomorrow.
