B18C1 swap in 95 Civic Si - 3K rpm idle after swap
Hi, I just finish up my B18C1 swap into my 95 Civic Si and it doesn't run like it should. When I drive the car hard or shift at high rpm the car idles stays at 3000rpm when in neutral or when the car is at the stop. I try turning off the car but it still start back up idling at 3000rpm, but after driving for a few minute the car idles back to normal. I am running OBD1 with a GSR P72 ECU. Does anyone know whats going on with my car?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

^Bleeding the cooling system is a good idea.
Also check for an intake air leak from the TB and IM gasket and clean the FITV (if you have one) and the IACV.
Any CEL codes?

try checking the throttle cable to see if anything is interfering with it. i know this sounds like a stupid idea but this happened to me. btw what bracket/ cable are you using? if the two lock nuts are too tight pulling the cable back you could have a somewhat open throttle at idle
