b18b1 swap questions
im looking into purchasing a b18b1 swap relatively soon and am wondering how i convert my ecu to obd 1, im considering buying a P28 ecu and having that tunes but will my car pass inspection(NJ) running an obd 1 ecu? , Also im going to be buying a b16 tranny to go along with the motor, will my stock axles work with that?
i know im a noob but ive seen some people go back and forth on what im asking so im wondering whats really gonna work for me.

Hello,
You are not giving enough information, First post about:
What car is it going into ?
What year ?
What trim ?
What engine is in it right now ?
--------
After you answer those it will be much easier for us to help you .
PS if you have a D series motor right now, You will need axles from a B series Car ( integra , civic Si )

Re: b18b1 swap questions
Is the HX starting off as a 5-speed manual, or dreaded CVT auto?
If it's an auto you're screwed. The topside transmission bracket welded to the frame is completely different on the auto model, and thus would need to be cut off and the manual version welded on before you can do a B swap.
