Default motor swap

i have a 96 civic 4dr sohc 1.6 i think ,and i want to 1.8 vetc in it but i'm not sure if its a b18 or not i call a junk yard to get a motor cause i don't have but a couple hundred to spend and i get a discount because i work for east bay kia.any way i want to know if the trany,harness and ecu on my car now will work with this motor.i really like jdm more than riceing it please help me out.

you need a complete swap.. engine, transmission, ecu, axles etc..

will definately not work. you cant mix d series with b series.

your english is a little sketchy, but i think your asking for a B18c1, the b18a and b18b motors are non-vtec. I highly suggest you read up a lot more before you jump out and buy a motor, because as previously stated, you need ecu, tranny, motor mounts, engine, axles, wireharness(although, you can modify yours to work), intermediate shaft, header, shift linkage, and you will have to modify your exhaust slightly.
