Default B18b turbo or B20 turbo?

Ok guys Need some advice/opinions.

I have a 95 Del Sol S

I want to swap the motor and eventually turbo. I would like some advice/opinions which motor would be better suited for turbo and would hold up better. Money is always in play since I'm not made of it. I guess what I'm asking is which motor would be more cost effective with gains?

With the quaility of tune being equal on both set ups and I plan to use the LS tranny.

Thanks for your input.

LS motors LOVE turbo, IMO go with the b18 with b16 head and turbo

Do some research too, but in stock form i a b18 would be better because they do conform will to boost and b20's have thin walls, and a lot of the time need to be sleeved.

Save the money, do an LS (from same year)....buy an LSD, turbo sooner shoot for 250 hp and call it a day.

Tearing them down, the money can add up real fast (and lots of down) when getting it together.

If you don't plan on sleeving the block, go b18b for the thicker walls. If you do plan on sleeving the block, go big.

Id recomend actually going into the appropriate forum, spending 2 minutes finding the ls turbo thread, and the b20 turbo thread and actually reading up on the information in the threads. that way you can make your own decision based off research done

I would go with the turbo LS, cheap and simple.
