Does the cigarette lighter auto power off?
Hey guys, I just got a 1995 Civic a few days ago and had to go out and buy a Whistler radar detector. I had always wanted one, but then again I drove a wrangler, so I never needed it!
Well anyway, I'm wondering if I can leave the detector plugged up to my cigarette lighter once I have turned my car off. Battery drain = bad, and that is what I am trying to avoid. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
Oh, and I was also wondering if any chipping would increase my efficiency, it is a manual transmition - but that is not a big deal to me now.
