Default b18b 92, b18b 91 how much would you offer?

My friend has a DA teg and we had a crazy rainfall a couple weeks ago and he hydrolock his engine (b18b 92) he said theres 1 rod broken but not sure what else the damage is he says he sell it to me for 100$ no transmission no ecu is it worth it to rebuild? He also has a 91 b18b that he swapped to replace the other b18b from a 91 that burning quite a bit of oil but nothing is broken inside in need of a rebuild as well. He said he might give me that one for 200$, If it's worth it I might just pick up both of them? You guys think it's worth the time, I know one has 220k (92) and the 91 has 110k.

ugh.
both motors are in need of serious work.
big money by the time you invest in gaskets and rebuild parts.
trust me....
neither are a sweet deal... so, be careful.

if you can take the time to remove the heads off of them, inspect the cylinder walls for scratches or out of roundness from wear/age and the cylinders for any cracking

if you cant find anything wrong with the blocks themselves, you may be ble to use them as a core for other crank/rod/piston assemblies
