B18b in a 91 civic, smog?
What are the requirements that i will have to meet if i stick a b18 in a 91 hatch?
i tried searching, but nothing came up towards what i would have to do to get this legal
hit the wrong key, ment to say b18b

Well, the B18B is newer than your car. So you are okay here. But in order for that B18B to be legal, you MUST use all B18B hardware, including the B18B intake manifold and P74/P75 ECU. Running a B18B with 1990-1991 LS electronics is NOT acceptable. And yes, they DO check to make sure you are running the right ECU.

THis supports what I've heard before, but I was wondering how they check the ecu. Do they just check the label (P75, P28 etc)?
