b18 swap and power steering
So I'm in the middle of swapping in a 97 JDM B18C/GSR into my 2000 Civic Ex that originally had the stock D16Y8 mated to an automatic (). Now, I'm trying to preserve my power steering, but the line off the pump that came with the new motor was cut and crimped so its not useable. I wanted to use my original line but the metal fitting with the o-ring that bolts onto the pump is quite a bit larger than the one that came with the motor.
Basically, my questions are as follows:
Would I be able to use a power steering hard line and return line from a 99-00 Si?
Is the fitting bolted to the pump different by year or simply by B/D series motors?

Re: b18 swap and power steering (EKcivicEX)
i used a gsr line and pump on my ls swap, so i'm pretty sure the line fittings are universal with b-series. i had the same predicament. have fun screwing the hard line into the rack

Re: b18 swap and power steering (aholeb18)
I thought it'd be a bitch too at first, but it doesn't seem so bad tightening and loosening from the bottom... hopefully...
