Default B18 Alternator Problem

Finally got the upper alternator mount and tried to hook up the alternator. Having an issue getting it mounted to the engine. After the bottom of the alternator is bolted down, I found the upper bolt does not line up with the upper mount. It looks like the hole is 1mm higher than the upper mount spacing. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

What is the difference between OBD0 OBD1 and OBD2 alternators besides the plug, and is there a difference betwen VTEC alternators compared to non-Vtec?
