They are cable driven but you can use Y80, S80, S4C, or Y21 with a conversion from HASport

All b17's are equiped with cable transmissions, so you can either get the conversion kit from hasport, or bolt on a hydro tranny. If the b17 tranny is in good shape, and its a usdm one, I would stick with it. Its the same as a usdm itr tranny just in cable form and without the lsd.
