could i use a b17 droped into my 91 teg rs and be all good?

i believe that all G2 is cable tranny...
in short, yes you could swap the B17 into your car

i think 93 was hydro. but if your dropping in an engine you can use your trans and be fine.

That tranny is cable. You should be fine in your '91. Good Luck!!

I would go with the B16 over the B17 that is what I did vary vary happey with the out come you have to use a JDM ecu from the xsi the 92-93 gsr ecu will not work.

how come on all the jdm sites i have seen i have only ever seen B17 ONCE ??
what makes them so different from the 94+?

b17a is 1.7 liter DOHC VTEC
b18a is 1.8 liter DOHC 90-93
b18b is 1.8 liter DOHC 94-01
b18c is 1.8 liter DOHC VTEC
