Most importantly, OBD-0 and OBD-1.

No you wouldnt. If you have a 92-95 you have to do a OBD-1 motor, if your car is a 96-00 you have to do a OBD-2 motor.

Wrong. I don't know about converting to OBD0, but I know that if you have a 96-00 you can install an OBD1 motor by buying a conversion harness. Please don't post if you don't know what you're talking about. To think 1913 posts and this is what you say.

people would rather stay obd1 for easier tuning. you can make a first gen b16 work with the 92-95 but you have to change out a few parts and obd0 b16's were equipt with a cable tranny. obd0 motors are cheap but add all the necessary parts to make it work and youll see thats its not cheap as u think. youll better off with an obd1 motor.

i have a 1st gen b16a in my civic. I just replace the harness with the harness off my reg (it was in my LS before the civic). and i used my LS tranny. works fine for me.
