Default obd0 in obd1 car need a little help

Heres the deal i bought a 94 Si and we just pulled the motor (b16) out of it. The car has a hydro tranny, axles, obd1 dizzy, and the shift linkage. MY question is can i buy an obd 0 motor and put the obd1 manifod and distrubitor with the obd1 engine wire harness on that obd 0 motor. Let me know what you suggest. And yes i searched for the obd0-obd1 conversoin and they were taling about doin it backwards or something.

nope, doesn't work like that.

you can buy an obd0 motor and put it in your car.....but you'll want to use as many of the parts off of your original engine/wiring as possible. Run the new engine as obd1, not obd0.

i think that is what he is talking about doing. just basically converting the motor to obd1.

You shouldn't have a problem doing it that way.

why are you trying to convert OBD1 to OBD0,
it seems that you have the basic concept of OBD conversion down so if you're dead set on an ODB0 motor why not do the OBD1 coversion and save yourself some future headaches.

if you buy an obd0 engine take the dizzy harness and injectors out and replace the with obd1 dizzy, injectors, and harness. you will need to modify the coolant sensor plug b/c the obd0 sensor will be on the back of the block and the obd1 harness will have the plug coming out of the harness somewhere close the the thermostat housing since that is were the coolant sensor is at on obd1 engines. any ??? call me.

Yes you can do that no problem. If you get a first gen B16A you will need to change the driver's side engine mount and bracket with the one from the B16 that is in the car now or 94+ Integra bracket and mount for the motor to bolt in. Simply use OBD1 injectors, distributor and engine harness, switching the manifold really isn't necessary but if you have it already then I'd switch.
