B16B throwing p1382 code
I have a 2000 civic LX with a b16b swap. It was running fine until I adjusted my valve lash. I thought the valves were too tight so I redid all the valves and it's still running like crap and misfiring. Before I did the valves it ran but the valves were tapping. Is there any reason that my motor would be throwing a code because of the valves? The only thing on the spark side I touched other then taking out spark plug wires was the first spark plug to make sure the motor was at tdc. I had to borrow a friends ecu out of a em1 si to read the code which was p1382 (along with 2 others due to the jdm motor) when I had my ecu in I did the paper clip trick and it had 9 fast blinks which is a cylinder misfire so I'm stumped on what it could be

Re: B16B throwing p1382 code
Sorry for being confusing in the original post.
Due to some valve tap I adjusted the valve lash to .006" on the intake and .008 on the exhaust (I believe thats what it's supposed to be set to) After I did that my car did not want to idle and started to misfire then the the cel light came on. I did the paper clip trick to get the code and came up with 9 short flashes which is a cylinder misfire and in order to try and pin point the cylinder I used a friends si ecu to pull the codes with a scanner. I got a code for the o2 sensor (didn't write down the code because my motor only has one sensor so it should come up with a usdm ecu) it also threw a p1259 which I believe is also normal because there is no oil pressure switch? Lastly it threw the p1382 which I believe has to do with the dizzy. My question is could the valves be too tight causing it to misfire, not want to idle and throw a cel or would it be a problem that just happened to come up after the valve lash was done?
