b16a2 w/jrsc build GSR Pistons? LS crank?
I have searched and can really find a straight answer.
Gsr pistons will lower my compression to what? Roughly
Can you put LS cranks and rods to up your stroke? Im guessing you have to figure out you deck height. But will this up my compression I know my goal is lower compression for the Supercharger. Any help or other threads would be great.
Thanks for everyone time and help.

i dont think the ls crank will fit into a b16a2 but it would fit into a b16b........with alot of money you can make it happen but thats a waste of money imo
and you searched but you couldnt find the compression ratio for a GSR??????????????

thanks for the info my search is not working at all. Would it be the some compression as a stock gsr? That means the rods and deck height are identical right.

Ls crank and rods wont work in the B16a as stated. The pistons would come out of the bore. If you wanted to lower the compression, use aftermarket pistons, a thicker headgasket etc..

and FYI gsr pistons are not low compression pistons in any case. LS pistons would be the best choice to lower compression.

you dont want to lower the compression for a jrsc, if anything you want to up it 10.5 compression is the sweet spot. the jrsc is already anemic if you add low comp pistons you will make less power. it doesnt have to capacity flow a lot of cfm. look in the jrsc thread in the Forced induction forum.

yeah a b16 with ls crank rods and pistons would most likely smack the hell out of some valves lol...rele the only way to stroke a b16 is to get a stroker kit that is made for a b16...Crower i believe makes them...it *** with the crank, pistons, rods and bearings and ull be able to request a compression ratio too...this would be the simplest, easiest, and and most reliable way to stroke a b16...the only way to be able to use a ls crank in a b16 is if u had some custom pistons made that were "shorter" in height...and if u tried to use ls pistons in ur b16 , then ull have to be careful with clearance issues and ur cam timing because of piston to valve clearance, since ls pistons do not have deep valve reliefs for vtec, so any cam bigger than a type r camshaft would possibly hit...

Great Thanks for all the info Its mostly what I figured except the fact of the JRSC and the little induction you dont want to go to low on compression I look up that post in the correct forum thanks everyone for the help and not flinging the bullshit critisism.
