Default b16a2 build

hey guys i have a 2000 si that i just did a head gasket on over the weekend. And when i got it apart there was no good news to be had. my pistons can rotate about 5 degrees to left and right... and my exhaust cam is about shot.

so I put is all back together and im going to drive it for a while. Until I have parts collected for it.

I'm shooting for 200whp just wondering if you guys could help me out with what i should get

I'm probably going to be ordering:
11:1 CP pistons
Manley rods
some kind of valvetrain probably Brian Crower
not sure on cams yet
probably about 370cc or so injectors
vafc
And ill do a port and polish job with a 5 angle valve job

I want this car to be reliable but have some go. Will it be difficult for me to hit that on a daily driver build with the 1.6? should I find a 1.8 block?

thanks a lot!

what will you be tuning with? why 11.1 over a 12.1 compression?

You wont be seeing 200whp with your list in a b16.

or grab a GSR block and slap the B16 head on there since your head is still good. then go from there. you will want the torque too

could be, my friend made 142 with bolt ons and tune, So you would need to pick up 60hp, I am no proffesional engine guy here, but its going to be quite hard to see that with what you have listed. Not to metion b16's lack torque.

Look into a gsr block or going ls/b20 vtec, A b20 vtec i saw with ctr cams with bolts ons and tune made 190@wheels.

still say 12comp and if your gonna go this far might as well bore it to like 82-83.

sadly though you won't hit 200whp. its possible i've seen it done on here plenty. just takes more then that.

GSR block w/ itr pistons
b16 head w/pnp
itr/ctr cams(itr vt or after market for aggressive cams)
itr t/b
itr i/m
good header
tune
whp= who knows but a reliable set up that is quick enough.

Check the all motor forum. Lots of info. there.

check my set up see if you like the only thing i didnt do was the head wasnt port n polish. lol so the power on the cam shaft is not that great due to compression kinda low 11.6 or 8. i dont know you calculate it see what the compression is check my **** out. i got whp 184 and 136 torq
