b16a2 or b18b
I would like to no which motor would be faster and better in a 98 ex coupe.
Ive heard bad things about b16 but i dont no. I want to no which would be better stock not with turbo or ls/vtec just stock in a EJ8.

edit your entire post..and do this..
name what car you have..how much experience you have with cars and hondas in general..what your goals are..and .how much money you have....your asking a question that really has no absolute answer...use the search engine on this site to find threads..this has been covered in both the all motor and forced induction forum..dozens and dozens of times.. (b16a b18b) just use that to search and you'll find tons of comparative discussions...
if you want my vote..i like the b18b..only cause i love boost...and the ls motor has more displacement and less room for mistakes with boost...

i put what car i have and i just want to see what will be faster completly stock in my car which is a 98 ex coupe. I have experience with the b18b motor i had a eg hatch with one in it but i have no experienc with vtec or the big boat of a car i have

I bought a 94 civic dx with a B16 swap and I realize this now. I never have a problem in my LS Integra getting up to speed without taching the motor out.

I think there are about a billion threads on this already, i have read some of them and they are long. Do a little search.
It comes down to personal opinion, all you will get out of this thread are peoples opinions. Im not flaming just trying to let you know and help out a bit.
