Default B16A valve adjustment

hey i just adjust my valves today and after i adjust it and put everything together....my motor started shaking alot like it didn't get enough air and start smelling like gas...did i tighten my valves to tight?

you think my motor is messed up now? or is it still fixable?

i think soo...i mean the first time i did it, it still had a clickin noise so i did it again, den it got worster cuz i tighten it up more...the motor started shaking like hell and when i rev it, it feel like it didn't get enough air or something. like its about to shut off

i actually recently did mine on my b18b1 and it was pretty simple as long as you used the correct tolerances with your feeler guage this was my first time and it was pretty straight forward and my car idles and runs super quiet now just make sure there is slight drag on the feeler gauge and you dont have like a wrench or anything on the lock nut when your adjusting cause this will put a little pressure on the feeler guage

Are you sure your doing it right? Are you using the right tools so the screw doesn't move when tightening the locknut?

You definatly tightened them too much.
