yes it will bolt in, but you will need other parts. if its obd1, and your sol is obd2, then you will need a wiring harness, distributor, injectors, alternator (unless you want to re-wire each), the power steering cable from a 00si. you will also need the gsr rear tranny bracket mount, front tranny mount, and a del sol vtec shift linkage, among other things.
if your car is OBD1, and the motor is OBD1, then you wont have to rewire asmuch.
its not difficult, just time consuming.

if his car is OBD2A , than it still doesnt matter. he needs an OBD2A to OBD1 jumper so he can plug an OBD1 ECU into his car. you can use any B series dizzy , they are all the same , just pinned different. but its much easier to get the dizzy to match the wiring harness. if your car is OBD2A , than get an OBD2A B series dizzy so it can plug right in. you can use the injectors that come off the engine your taking out*sol engine). all stock injectors are the same size. dont matter what engine it is. power steering cable??? lol. if you want power steering , youl need the line out of the car that pump came in.all the engine mounts holding the engine into the civic , should work for your sol as well. the shift linkage thats in your car will work as well , might need to be shortened a tad. better off using the linkage out of the civic , it will prolly fit perfect.
tell us exactly what year the engine is would be good? it cant be an OBD2 B16A , cause theres no such thing. if its OBD2A , than its a B16A3. if its an OBD2B engine , its a B16A2. if it is a b16A3 , than thats the engine that would have come in your sol new if it was a 96-97 sol VTEC.
