how can i find out if i have an obd1 or obd2 delsol?

i have a 97 del sol that came with a d16y8 is this a obd1 or obd2?

obd2, '92 - '95 = obd1, '96+ obd2

if i want to swap a b16 in to my del sol what year would bolt right in and from what car should i get it from?

'97 Del Sol Vtec, '96 would work just as well, but wont pass bar as its older than the car its going into. or a '99 - '00 Civic Si, you can also use a JDM B16A, you will need to add the missing USDM emissions equipment to it though. ECU must be a USDM P30, or possibly a P2T using an OBD2A to OBD2B conversion harness.

Yes, you will need mounts, and a shift linkage from a '94 - '97 Del Sol vtec (no other linkage will work), you will also need the transmission and axles.
