B16a Missing PCV System?!? Cause smoke?
My B16a is smoking...I just got it a few days ago. It smokes a bit on idle and such. I figured maybe the PCV since compression is good on all 4 cyl's...so I look for PCV on my AEBS manifold and its not there. I look at the black box on the back of the block and wala...the PCV hose is not even hooked up! Today I went and bought a PCV valve and some hose and tried to rig it up...I am not sure how to put it on there though.
Would a missing PCV valve cause smoking at idle? The block box has 2 holes, one for the block one for the IM and the one for IM is just left open, no hose PCV or anything. Also the hose on the valve cover is just vented down into the engine bay...any diagrams for B16a PCV system?
Thanks!

The hose from the valve cover normally attaches to the intake tube. The hose from the black box has a PCV valve inline, and attaches to the large 3/8 port on the intake manifold.
