B16A in an EG6?
anyone know what is required to drop a JDM B16a into an EG6 body? more specifically the conversion of the OBD's. an OBDI car with an OBD0 motor. i hear you can get a conversion kit from hasport... is this the only way?

thats what I did, it mainly solves the (if u plan on keeping it) the cable conversion issue. You'll need a chipped P28 for DOHC VTEC, and an OBD1 (94 or 95 GSR I believe) distributer. if u need more help, i put that exact engine in my car so I can help. Things like mid shaft/axel combos come into play here too, so don't go spending ur money before doing the research. he Guys at hasport are great, they helped me out a lot.
Also, keep the tranny if u plan on racing, u'll be faster then all USDM stock b16a's and, in my case, be equivelent or better than Stock GSR anythings...

my younger bro bought a crx for $200, dropped the motor in, but the body is in horrendous shape, needs almost all new body panels, suspension, interior, etc... it's difficult to find a crx in great shape around here with the harsh winters we have... his project is going to be a lot more work than what he originally thought, hence going to civic hatch.
