I had a Gen 2 B16A(170hp) under my hood and this is my 1st honda. I'm very keen to make this machine a speeding machine I was wondering whether a B16A or a B18C block have a higher potential ? ? ? ? ? Kind soul out there please give me some advise ^_^

 

go with the B18c1 bottom end you will gain nice TQ , or even with B20 or B18b if you want huge amount of TQ

 

torque is good

 

torque = fun

but a b16 can be just as fun......but torque less

 

If you already have the b16, then just build it up. I suggest turbo

 

Buy a B18C, then give me your B16A

, who would really really really like a swap but is poor

Actually i was aiming for a 98 B18C Spec R block to build up . . but it cost a BOMB to import the block . . But i feel that B18 can definitely get higher speed as a stock B18 is already have larger displacement compare to a B16 . . . how how ? ? ? ? ? is there anyone out there have a incredible B16A machine ? ? ? ? what is the extend of a B16A actually ? ? ? ?
