b16a or 16b?

Default b16a or 16b?

what should i do i have a b16a right now should i port and polish my stock b16a head or get an jdm ctr or itr head instead........ because dont they come factory ported and polished. i am staying all motor trying to get 230whp

It's my understanding that the usdm b18c5 and jdm b18c spec r both have ported b16 heads with more aggressive cams. I'm not sure which would be cheaper since a PnP depends on how far you go with it.

just port ur current head, it will be cheaper cuz if ur tryin to get 230whp, ur gonna need all the porting you can get. u might want to get a b18 block, your gonna have a really tough time trying to get that much power out of a b16. it can be done, but 230 is alot, unless its turbo

juss PnP your b16 head...like what the others said...your gonna need enuff of it to push out 230hp..its gona be pretty hard to push that much out of a b16 if your Naturally Aspirated....it can be done though....btw....i believe that the ITR already has a b16 PnP head
