b16 sirII in ej1 coupe

hows everyone going im kinda new to this forum. im jus seeing if i could find somethin out. im plannin on gettin the complete change over b16 sirII and putting it in my 95 ex coupe. i heard something about a knock sensor needed to be wired in? i was just wondering if that was necessary.

The P30 ECU will look for it (if that's what you're planning on using) and set off a CEL if it's not hooked up. But there is a trick to get around this, I'll see if I can can find a link...
