Default b16 overheating

wzup

I recently bought a b16 integra... its overheating but right when the fan kicks in it cools down.... system's been bled n all that ****, im pretty sure its the fan switch, but not 100% and dont have a disposable income. Does tthe fan switch regulate when the fan should go off? because as soon as the fan turns on the car temperature stabilizes, but it seems delayed. Its definitely something w/ the fan, but i dunno what it is. Help a brother out, thx

jus hook the fan up to the ignition so whenever the car is on, its on..... thus, no overheating.

Yeah replace the T-stat, it's cheap. There should be a way to test the fan switch to confirm if it's bad using a fluke meter or whatever... I believe the CTS is what controls when the fan comes on though...
