Default B16 Engine,Tranny, ECU

I wanna get this once i get some money saved up.
http://hmotorsonline.com/shop/...30004
But, i was just wondering is it that much of a difference to have a complete changeover. On thing different in the two is axel w/ half shafts, stock motor mounts n shift linkage. http://hmotorsonline.com/shop/...30005

so is the complete changeover realli worth the extra $500.

IMO, Yes. Sure you can probably find the rest for a little cheaper, but mine as well just get it all together so you don't have to go searching and spend more time on looking for stuff

Everyone says they like the CTR intake, but when I did it, I was not impressed. I went Buddy Clubs instead.

When I first put the CTR intake in, my higher rpms felt better and the low/mid range felt about the same. Then I had to put the stocks back in and honestly it didn't feel much slower. Thats why I was like WTF?

I just got my BCs in this weekend but its still untuned. Mid-range feels really good but also did a AEBS manifold/ ITR TB at the same time so can't REALLY tell if the power is mainly from the cams...

All on a B16A

It really depends on what car you are putting the engine in... some of the **** they give you wont work w/ certain chassis.... also are you converting to obd2? if so it may be a waste, well except the axles n mounts of corse however, the mounts i got were in extreemly bad shape, and one of the axles went in about 2 months

It'll be goin in to an 92-95 hatch or coupe which ever i find in good shape. Although im leaning towards hatch so i can strip it on race days at the track. Or whenever i have a planned street race on this closed road.
No i'll b stayin OBD1. Since i recently found out wtf obd1 n obd2 meant(last night). I think I will go with OBD1 since its programable. Other than the b16a2.

Ive been hearing/reading that a crvtec can b just as powerful for cheaper. Wat is the whole concept on lsvtec and crvtec and how much power can those have done the RIGHT way?

thanks

Basically your taking a higher displacement block which in turn makes more tq and you put a vtec head on it for hp, usually a b16 or type r head because they fow the best. If done right n not cheaped out it can be a good reliable power maker, however if not tuned correctly you can detonate which is usually the case with any work done to an engine, except bolt ons.

when you order it tell them what car its going in so they can get you the right shift linkage and axles...or if you want you can probably find the linkage on here for under 100 and the axles are 75 each from autozone

if you dont know what your doing when you build your lsvtec or crvtec youll be doing it more then once...you can pick up the parts for cheap but to get it running right it comes out to alot more then just getting a b16 swap, or even a gsr swap
