CTR intake cam on b16
for my 99 em1...
safe to run a CTR intake cam with the stock b16 exhaust cam?? Also, okay to run on stock internals? any other mods needed in doing this... thanks

its fine to run like that, but it would make more sense to have the CTR/ITR exhaust cam also. the bigger ctr cams let more air in, with the smaller lobes from the stock b16 allows less air out then what is going into the motor

true it does make better sense... but right now $$ is tight since i'm getting married here shortly, and ive got a free CTR cam waiting to be installed. appreciate the replys though

yea put it in you will notice the difference when the vtec kicks in.
i put ctr cams in my stock b16 head and i noticed the difference soon as i pulled out of the driveway
