Default To B 20 or not to B 20

Hi, everybody!
There are a lot of topics about b20 swap into Civic, but i didn't find answer on my question.

now a have JDM EG Civic SiR2 (B16A2) with LSD, 5Zigen exhaust and cold intake.

I like this engine but i want more power. and I don't want turbo.

I think about b20 block with my b16 head and compression about 11:1.

what will I have with this combination? Will I have more horsepowers? Will my civic be faster? how much faster (0 to 60 mph.)? Can this b20/b16 rev to 8500 rpm?

I understand, that torque will be much bigger, but I don't want to use only 5th gear. I want a faster car.

Please, help me in my desigion. I don't know build this hybrid or not.

Well he doesn't want to turbo, and he wants 11:1 CR.

I'd say that's NA is the way he wants to go.

84mm itr spec rs machine pistons, eagle rods, arp headstuds, blox b cams, skunk2 intake manifold, jg edelbrock header with 2.5 collector mod, 270/320cc injectors. dont forget to upgrade your valvetrain also. tuned on crome. you'll be satisfied for the money spent

dawg, just do it...it'll mos def give you more torque and more hp which will make you faster...you gonna need to get it tuned and all, so why dont you dyno it and find out what it puts out...
use this as your guide..
https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

oh yea, and about the rev's, 8.5k is pretty hgh for your setup (b20vtec) unless you sleeve it and add a better valvetrain....but why rev that high???when you dyno it to find out what #'s it puts out, you'll find out when the powerband starts to drop, shift then....i would say to rev to about 7-7.5k because b20s arent really friendly with high revs.....unless you do what i said earlier...GL..keep in mind that your b20vtec can be reliable if you get it done correctly.....read thru the link i gave you..

1. It can vary from 160-200+ depending how you build it.
2. Yes you will have more horsepower and torque.
3. More horsepower + more torque = faster car.
4. 0-60 , varies on driver and how deep is the build.
5. Can it rev to 8500 ? Yes. Can it rev there safely ? Thats another question.

guys, thaks!
but, I didn't completely understood:
"1. It can vary from 160-200+ depending how you build it" - it depends on components or on tuning(ajustments)?

well...a built b16 head with agressive cams, port&polish, valve job, etc is gonna make alot more power over a stock b16 head....tunning with always get you to put out the most out of your setup...
