Default All motor B20 or force fed turbo B20?!?!?!?!?!

A friend wants to know if he should just drop a B16 head with grs cams and build his way up from there. Or if he should go B20 turbo non-Vtec??? This will be in his daily eG Hatch!

Let me know what you guys think.....

I think I might know what most people in this forum are going to say.
I would agree.
Turbo it.
You'll hear about the weak sleeves, but as long as you're careful, you'll be fine.

If he builds it all motor he might end up with a car that runs 12s on slicks at like 105 MPH. If he does a turbo setup he can put it deep 12's @ 115+ MPH and be much more fun to drive on the street. Tizzurbo!

Why would you post this question in the forced induction forum? I think the answer you will recieve in here is obvious.

I didnt just post it here. I posted it in the all-motor form as well. I just want to get both side's of opinions on it.

Well what are your goals? How much money do you have to spend and how fast do you want to be?

15lbs pushed by a T3/T4 57trim 63ar fed to a stock block B20 ownz me everyday. Small turbos kick my butt off the line, then I finally spool, and its over.

Boost for life!!!!

thats basically what it comes down to, what power level and how fast are you going to be satisified with?

also b20 boost will last if you dont push it too much with the boost. my cousin has a stock b20 thats been boosted for over a year now on about 12 psi (250 hp) daily driven for about 40 - 50 miles per day and it hasn't crapped out on him yet. for the most part, everyone that i see that have their b20's failed on them boosted about 15 psi or more and ragged the **** out of it. i think any stock motor would fail if you did that.

Sleeve it and boost it.
Very hard!!!!!!
Drive it with 20PSI on a big turbo.
I can ensure you after your first drive on high boost you will forget your girlfriend very fast

Boost forever
