Default b20/b16 question plz help.

hey guys sorry i searched but couldnt find what i was looking for. Well i have a buddy with a 2000 si and he wants to do a b18c5 swap, n turbo but i was thinking maybe it would be better to do a b20/b16 instead, since he already have the b16 head. the question is if he turbod b20vtec, would it heat up in long distance drives? which would be a better swap? any suggestions??

b20 vtec more bang for buck.. as long as you have a good cooling system you shouldnt have any problems with it heating up.. put a oil cooler on it also so it keeps it pretty cool.... b18c5 is a good motor but doenst have torque on the b20

yeah def. go 4 the B20 torque on it is amazing. the onli thing bout the B20 that some people don't lyke is that it can't rev super high lyke a B18c5 so pick wat u want. On teh overheating tip u shouldn;t have 2 really worry bout it long as its cooled correctly and u don't dog it the entire way
