axle seal replacement.
i need to replace my driver side axle seal for a B18b1, any one got a pic of the installation?? how far in do i have to push in the axle seal??

Here is a diy on a d series tranny to remove the axles but is pretty much the same steps on a b series just gotta unbolt the halfshaft and pop that out the tranny. The axle seal is right there once you take the axle and halfshaft off. Just pop it out with a flat head screwdriver and pop in the replacement.
You'll know if you pushed it in too far cause the axle won't go in all the way. Pretty easy to replace.

Re: axle seal replacement.
Just take a visual or photographic picture of the old seal. If you look carefully, there is a limitation on how far you can push in the new seal.

how far in? cause the old one looked pretty far in, which is leaking.
i replaced it and installed it the same way and it still leaks a little.
anyone got a pic of how its suppose to look like.
