axel seals

Re: axel seals
Rent a slide hammer from Advance Auto. A regular seal puller won't work because there is nothing to pivot the puller on. The slide hammer kit will come with a fitting that has three arms on it. You simply place those arms in the axle hole in the tranny and spread them out so the lip on each arm has a bite on the seal. Slide the weight and they will pop right out.
I just did this last week. It works well.

Re: axel seals
I just stick the seal in the hole and tap lightly with a 3/8 socket around the edge until it's flush with the transmission, of course being careful not to warp the seal in any way. Clean off the surface where the old seal was while you're at it.

Re: axel seals
i would recomend buying a seal from honda or in this case acura, i went to a few local part stores when i did mine and the inner diameter was too large. Make sure the new seal is the exact same size or else it will leak
